Artwork, Logos & Proofs

Sending your logo does not need to be complicated. Whether you already have artwork ready or are not quite sure what format you have, we will do our best to guide you through the process and recommend the most suitable branding option for your garments.

Here’s a quick guide to artwork, proofs and logos for branded garments.

What logo files are best?

The best files for customisation are usually high-quality versions of your logo such as vector files, PDF, EPS or AI files. A clear PNG can also be useful in some cases.

If you only have a JPG, screenshot or image taken from a website or social media page, we can still have a look, but lower-quality files may not produce the best results.

What if my artwork is poor quality?

If your logo file is too small, blurry or unsuitable for the branding method chosen, we will let you know before production begins.

In some cases, a logo may need to be cleaned up, redrawn or adjusted to work properly for embroidery or print. If extra artwork time is needed, we will advise you before going ahead.

Can you help if I do not have proper artwork?

Yes. If you do not have a high-quality version of your logo, send us what you have and we will let you know what is possible.

Embroidery or print – which is better?

This depends on the garment, the design and the finish you want.

Embroidery is often best for polos, sweatshirts, hoodies, fleeces, jackets and workwear that needs a smart, durable finish.

Print is often best for larger logos, detailed designs, multi-colour graphics, t-shirts, promotional garments and designs where embroidery would be too heavy or unsuitable.

If you are not sure which is right for your logo, we can advise you.

Will I receive a proof or mock-up?

Yes. For quote-based orders, we provide a digital mock-up with your quote so you can review the garment, branding position and overall look before approving and paying.

Once approved, that same file goes straight to production, helping keep everything clear, accurate and consistent.

Online orders can also be previewed, saved and shared before checkout.

What should I check before approval?

Before your order goes into production, please check all details carefully. This includes logo appearance, garment colour, sizes, quantities, branding positions and spelling, if text is included.

Customised garments are made to order, so once production has started, changes may not be possible.

Can you match colours exactly?

We always aim to reproduce branding as accurately as possible, but some variation can occur depending on the decoration method, garment fabric and the artwork supplied.

Printed colours and embroidered thread colours can appear slightly different from what you see on screen.

If you have Pantone references, we can use them to help guide colour matching where possible. We will always aim to match as closely as we can.

Need help with your logo?

If you are unsure what file you have, send us what you have and we will have a look. We are happy to advise on the best way to move forward.
